El presente documento describe, brevemente, la fuente donde se origina el fideicomiso, las evoluciones que tuvo como por ejemplo con el Trust anglosajón, la definición del fideicomiso, sus características principales, los sujetos intervinientes, la importancia del Dominio Fiduciario relacionada directamente con el patrimonio autónomo o separado que hace del Fideicomiso una figura única y muy útil. Asimismo, revisa la extensa variedad de formas de utilizarlo y la importancia que tiene.
